So today I wanted to do a review on a couple of random products that I purchased last week.
I had an appointment in the lovely town of Thame last week so I decided to see what the local shops had to offer! I was plesantly suprised by the superdrug in the town, now I feel I can say this as compared to my local one it was bright, a good size and the shop assistant didn't look like she wished she was somewhere else!
First of all I must say I rarely use own brand cleansers, I have been using Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Facewash, unfortunately as nice as this product looks it doesn't seem to be agreeing with my skin. Prior to this I had used Johnsons Clean and Clear Wash for years as it kept my skin beautifully soft and clean but I always like to try something new inbetween.
Many years ago my skincare routine was about 20 minutes long, I would go into an utter panic if the items I was currently using were about to run out. Nowadays it's fairly simple and to some it may sound awful but I cleanse every other day and just splash my face with cold water on the other days. Ughh I hear some of you say but I have been doing this for quite a few years now and get one or two spots every couple of months so it can't be too bad!
In the store I picked up the Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser. Now, I had read a lot about facewashes that came with the muslin cloth, to me it just seemed a bit odd, I mean why not just use soap and a flannel?? Anyway this time I thought that I would give it a go, and at £2.99 I felt that if it didn't work I wouldn't have wasted too much money. I haven't tried it as yet but will be giving it a go from tonight and the rest of the week.
The next item that I bought was the Naturally Radiant Radiance Balm 50ml, a bit of a mouthfull especially when you say it when you are tired, like me the other night it came out as Naturally Radiant Radiator Balm! he he.
I have used this product before, but it was years ago, I then stopped for some reason and tried Clarins Flash Balm. I love this balm, I really believe it works, it give me a smooth glowy complexion and I look refreshed (or so I hope!). This is one that I would definately recommend to friends, family and anyone that was unsure about buying it.
The last item that I bought was the Garnier 7 day body lotion. Now i'm a girl that swears by two body lotions, Johnsons Baby Lotion and Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Cream. Recently though the baby lotion hasn't been enough so I bought the Garnier to replace it as my daily lotion (I only use cocoa butter once a week as the one I use is quite thick and heavy). Again, I haven't started using it yet but I will be from tomorrow and then after a week I shall do another review and let you know how I get on. I hope it works as my skin is drier than the sahara desert and flakier than flaky pastry!
