Breakfast Time

Image
Hi! Occasionally Mr C and I like to venture out for some breakfast at a weekend. Last week we went to Villandry Grand Café in Bicester Village, I didn't realise they did breakfast until I followed them on Twitter. I love scramble eggs and these were the best I've ever had, so tasty! Mr C went a an English breakfast and an amerciano to perk him up! Here is what I wore that morning. I am in love with this denim shirt from Peacocks, I never thought that denim would make such a comeback. I can recall my teenage uniform being black jean, white t-shirt and a denim shirt, it was so popular that one day when we had a school outing about 6 of us turned up in identical outfits! We had a quick look around a few of the shops but it was so busy people were queuing outside to get in! No shopping for me for this time!   Much Love   N x

Peplum love

Image
Hi! A few weeks ago when I was packing up my wardrobe ready to move I found this peplum top which I had forgotten about. I originally gave it to my mum to have the sleeves cut off but after trying it on again I have decided to keep the sleeves! This will definitely be a winter go to item for me especially layered with a nice cardigan and a pretty scarf!   Top - Forever 21 Necklace - Primark Much Love N x

OMCZ 20

Image
Hi! Time for another OMCZ challenge! This week we welcome some more gorgeous ladies to join us and say goodbye to one. This weeks OMCZ theme was chosen by the lovely Vicky at The Curved Opinion. Vicky wrote:  " My theme is going to "The Colour of Confidence".  For me, red is the colour of confidence and everything I wear it, be it lipstick or clothing; I feel an extra boost. What is your confidence colour?" My colour of confidence is Blue! It is my favourite colour and I always feel a sense of calm when I wear it. I didn't have a chance to take any photos for the challenge as the past week has been crazy busy so I have to cheat a bit and use some old photos! I will try and be more organised next time. Here are some of my favourite outfits featuring blue items from previous posts:   Don't forget to check out the other lovely ladies taking part.   Name Blog Stephanie  http://www.seeingsp0ts.blogspot.co.uk Leah  http://w

I feel Good

Image
Hi! Time for the next I Feel Good challenge.   " You know sometimes when you spend ages getting ready for a night out, an event or even just a blog post, and the reflection in mirror isn't what you hoped?  This challenge is for those times when you look in the mirror, no pre planning involved, and think "I look good today".     We all have our good days and our bad, but this challenge is to record those good days and to remember that confidence, at any size, is beautiful.     This was my favourite dress during the summer, it kept me nice and cool in the evenings and on holiday! It also fit really well so I felt good in it, a great bargain from Gap!     Much Love   N x   Don't forget to check out the other ladies taking part:     Becca  http://bekasstuffystuff.blogspot.co.uk/ Becky  http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com/ Bee  http://www.thelittlestbuzz.blogspot.co.uk/ Felicity  http://felicityhart.blogspot.co.uk

Jay Z

Image
Hi! Quite a few months ago Mr C and I decided to book tickets to see Jay Z at the O2 arena. I had been looking forward to it for ages so when the day came around I woke up super excited, unfortunately this didn't last for long as I had to go to the hospital for my pre op first which took longer than expected. We were hoping to leave at lunchtime but I was still at my appointment in oxford at that time. Anyway we ended up leaving around 4.00 which meant that any plans I had of doing a bit of shopping first were scuppered! After an epic 4 hour car journey to get there we missed the chance to get any dinner and grabbed a £5 hotdog, I don't why I was shocked at the prices but I always am! The concert ended up being fantastic and even though it was the second time I have seen him I would still go back a third time if I get the chance! Here are some pics from the evening:   Sorry for the grainy picture, it was 2.00am by the time we got home,   Top - Fo

Scarlett & Jo Dress

Image
Hi!   A few weeks Evans had an online event where there was 25% off selected items for one night only.   Its been quite a while since I shopped in Evans. The last item I bought in there was a pair of jeans and that was about 2 years ago!   I had a browse through the website and spotted a few winter jackets but couldn't make up my mind on which I wanted!   I was really after a nice dress or long top that I could wear with my leggings. I then spotted this gorgeous Scarlett & Jo Red Dipped Hem Dress  and promptly placed it in my basket!   The dress is so lovely. Its a nice thick jersey which sits on my curves without being too tight. You can see a bit of my belly outline but I don't care! It's also a great length so I could wear it without leggings or tights when the weather gets warmer.   The dress comes in various colours such as black, teal and grey but the red caught my eye instantly. I am definitely thinking this will be a Christmas day outfit

E.L.F Comestics

Hi!   Last week I had  quick peak on the E.L.F Cosmetics website and was pleasantly surprised to see a great selection.   I had been looking for a new concealer for a long time, my trusty old mac one had started to run out and I wanted to try something new.   I found this concealer set and placed it in my basket immediately, I was so happy as since Rimmel stopped stocking make up for black skin in places like Superdrug and Boots I have always bought my concealer from MAC. It was nice to find affordable make up.   I received my package a few days later and immediately tried the set. There are four different shades, this is really handy as it means that I can mix the colours together to conceal different areas of my face. The texture is really nice, smooth and easy to put on using my fingers. I tried it first on the dark circles under my eyes and it stayed put all day and gave me the more 'awake' look I was after!     I also bought a few other items, f

OMCZ 19

Hi! This weeks OMCZ challenge is stripes! The theme was chosen by the lovely Beka at BekasStuffyStuff . Here is what she wrote: "I decided on horizontal stripes as I think these can still be seen as something that makes some people feel larger than they are. Well what rubbish! I want to see you all rocking the burglar look!" This is my outfit for the challenge. I bought it about 6 years ago from New Look in the sale. I love the length and the stud detail on shoulder.   Don't forget to have a look at the other ladies taking part!   Name Blog Stephanie  http://www.seeingsp0ts.blogspot.co.uk Leah  http://www.justmeleah.blogspot.co.uk Mary  http://www.marysbigcloset.blogspot.pt Becky Brown http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com Rachel  http://www.adressisforlife.com/ Natalie http://awheelbarrowfullofstyle.blogspot.

Plus London

Image
Hi! On Saturday I went to Plus London. I was so excited to go seeing as I had missed out on Plus North. I must admit though about an hour before I was still really nervous about going and almost turned back to go home. After spending three weeks in recovery at home, being out in the real world sent me into an almighty panic. After an epic almost 3 hour journey we arrived at Hoxton. I was slightly paranoid about being late so we got there just before 10.00am, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy breakfast at the Long White Cloud. I had scrambled egg and beans on toast and Mr C had an English breakfast which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Once we had finished drinking our OJ's at a leisurely pace we then wandered off to find the venue.  It was literally around the corner from the café! I went up to the doors around 10.45 but that was still too early so we went for a quick hot chocolate and coffee and waited outside. At 11.00am I went inside and Mr C went off for a little m

The Lace Jacket

Image
Hi! Mr C and I took my parents out to our favourite restaurant to say thank you for helping us so much over the last few months. I picked up this lace jacket in Sainsbury's one evening. I wasn't sure about it at first, my first reaction to light coloured lace is tablecloth! Lets hope it doesn't look like that on me! Here's what I wore:   Jacket - Sainsburys Vest Top - Sainsburys Jeans - Yours Clothing Boots - New Look Much Love N x
