Garden time

Image
Hi! Just a quick  post about the garden today! I went to Lidl recently and found these plant pot thingymajigs! Technical gardening term there, I expect Monty Don to ring soon and ask to use that on Gardeners World Live! This is super easy gardening, pop some nice compost in the pot, I used John Innes no 3. Then take the top off, place the packing with the bulbs on top of the compost, put some more compost on top and water.                                            Hopefully in a few weeks some shoots will start popping up!                                             I also went to a local nursey and picked up quite a few bits. It's always nice finding a small garden centre, this one doesn't advertise or have a fancy building so they are able to keep the price of the plants low.                                                                                        The shrub in the back corner was green a few weeks ago! Skin Care

Image
Hi! Many moons ago when I was a mere youngster my skin was ok, I rarely got spots, it wasn't too oily and I didn't bother with makeup unless I was going out. Going into my 20s, my skin got worse for some reason, I ended up with really bad scarring from spots, which got so bad I used to spend more than half an hour every morning piling on the concealer and foundation to cover everything. I eventually had microdermabrasion which got rid of a lot of the scars but it is very expensive at £60 a facial every two weeks for 3 months and then once a month for another 3 months (luckily I was still living at home at this point!) Now I'm into my thirties my skin has gone on a downward spiral again. I seem to wake up with a new spot every other morning which is really annoying. I have decided to really have go at sticking to a skincare regime and also try some new products. Here is what I am going to be using. I am going to give this a go and report back in two w

Shop My Stash #3

Image
Hi! Welcome to the Shop Your Stash Challenge. This is all about finding a gem in what you already own and creating a blog post on it. This is to let go a little of the stress that comes with being a blogger - even if it is just once a month. Rummage through your beauty products and climb through those clothes draws. You might surprise yourself!   The World Cup, three short words that make most women with a football loving partner groan inside. The premier league has only just fizzled off our screen and then more football appears.   I always have a little moan at the beginning but then I find myself getting into it more and more, even though England are now out I will still force myself to watch men in tight shirts run around!   On Thursday night during the England game I found myself alone in the house with nothing to do, so, I decided to put on the football and enjoy some much needed pampering time. I decided to delve into my 'beauty' drawer and see what it

OMCZ #34

Image
Hi! Time for another OMCZ challenge! This week the theme was chosen by Katt. Theme -  "Show me some skin" As summer approaches and the days get warmer, I'm struck with the fear of getting my pasty white legs and the tops of my arms out. Apart from the obvious rudey parts, what areas of your body do you prefer to keep covered? Ladies, show me those white bits! Katt xo   So here I am getting my arms and a bit of my legs out!   This is one of my favourite dresses from Primark. My mum actually choose it for me as I was a bit unsure about it, now I wish they would make it again for this summer!   Oh and I'm looking at the grass you can't see that is in desperate need of a mow!   Check out the other ladies taking part   Much Love   Natalie x   Nikki http://www.nattynikki.com Becky Brown http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com Mary  http://www.marysbigcloset.blogspot.pt Hollie Http://www.prettybigb

Green for Go!

Image
Hi!   A few weeks ago Mr C and I enjoyed a day out to Leamington Spa, on the way home we decided to drive through Warwick.     It was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to wear this dress from Peacocks. It had been sat in the wardrobe for months and I was a bit scared to wear it because of the colour (also because of the rubbish weather!)       Dress - Peacocks Cardigan - Gap Belt - Forever 21       Unfortunately because I've been a bad blogger this dress is no longer available on line but they do have lots of other lovely dresses  up to a size 20 and 22 in a few styles. You can also find a similar colour dress here .    A very sunny Warwick! Much Love   Natalie   x

Simply Be Dress

Image
Hi! So one afternoon I was relaxing reading blogs, putting my feet up, you know how it goes and then I see Leah ( Just Me Leah ) looking all gorgeous and summery in the cutest dress! It didn't take me long to decide that I needed this dress in my wardrobe so I quickly placed an order and a few days later this denim delight was in my little hands!     I paired it with an orange necklace and matching shoes to add a pop of colour.     Yes, pockets!!!!!!    I wore it on Sunday when the weather was warm and it kept me nice and cool all day. I love the short sleeves and the length is perfect so that I feel comfortable enough to wear without leggings.   I definitely feel like I am going to get a lot of wear out of this and for my first Simply Be purchase I am very happy!   Much Love   Natalie   x

The Magnificent 7th

Image
Hi!         'We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!' Replicate an outfit from your favourite celebrity       Source   Lauren Conrads style is just right in my eyes, sleek, chic and classic.         I haven't replicated an exact outfit but I gone with the white shirt, jeans and statement bag like I have seen Lauren wear.       Check out the other ladies taking part Much Love Natalie x Kaye http://polishedcurves.wordpress.com/   Becky http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com/   Nicola http://chunkycatcuddler.blogspot.co.uk/   Gail http://gailygumdrops.blogspot.co.uk/   Mary http://marysbigclose
