Hi! Theme: Summer Trends . Danielle has chosen the next theme: "What summer trend have you been nervous about trying? Do you avoid wearing sleeveless tops or shorts? Are you interested in trying a crop top but afraid to try it? Are you thinking about finally wearing a bikini to the beach? Show us what trend you're hoping to finally get on board with this summer! "     I'm getting over my fear of getting my arms out.     Getting my legs and arms out.   I really want to try a crop top but am little afraid of getting my stomach out! Here are some crop tops that I have my eye on incase I ever feel brave enough!         All from Forever 21     Don't forget to take a look at the other ladies taking part!   Much Love   Natalie x         Nikki http://www.nattynikki.com Stephanie  http://www.seeingspots.co.uk/ Becky Brown http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com Mary  http://w

An Introduction to the man behind the wheelbarrow...

Hi! Natalie has been bugging me for some time to write a couple of posts for her, so here I am! Mr C is finally taking the opportunity offered to publish some of his thoughts. There are many things that I could have written this blog on, but unfortunately not many of those topics would have held much interest for you guys – the loyal readers and followers. So I am going to keep my first one quite simple  - who am I and my experiences so far of living with a plus size blogger. Well, where to start? I am 30+ (cough cough) years old, slightly hard of hearing and the day job is an Assistant Accountant working for a Charity. I am plus size as well, have been for as long as I can remember, well, give or take a few years of short term success of being fitter and skinnier. Then again, even when I was exercising every day and doing pretty much every sport (at one time or another in my life so far) ever invented I have never been what people would now class as “normal” or “skinn

Hi!       This week it is the turn of the lovely Mookie from Mookies Life .     Mookie Wrote: I decided to go with two different looks. Firstly I want you to show us what you consider is your go to style. The kind of style you know you look good in and that flatters your body. The secondly I want you to go totally out of your comfort zone and choose something you've been dreading or don't really like wearing for some reason. So comfort style and then out of comfort style.  I'm doing a bit of a throwback post this week, this is partly due the fact that I have hurt my knee and back so have been unable to take any photos. I'm sure no one wants to see me hunched over and looking miserable! A few years ago my go to style for work would be black trousers, black vest top, maybe white if I was feeling brave and a cardigan. I never wore a skirt, even if the weather was hot. I hated showing my legs and also having to deal with the dreaded chub rub.

300th Post

Image
Hi!   So as you might be able to tell from the title, this is my 300th blog post! eeek!   I started this blog back in December 2012 after reading Girl With Curves and Forever Fabulous in Bows. I was absolutely blown away by these gorgeous woman writing and posting photos about their love of fashion and beauty. The next morning in the shower I came up with a name and opened up a brand new notebook to jot down all my ideas.   It was very difficult at first, I wasn't sure whether to blog about fashion, beauty, life or gardening. I thought that I had to post every day and I didn't even know how to use my camera properly. I finally decided to post about things that I enjoy, those being clothes, shopping, more clothes, beauty and myself and Mr C going on our travels somewhere! 18 months later and I can honestly say this is best hobby I have started and actually kept up with!   I want to say thank you to everyone that reads my blog and leaves lovely comments, it reall

I Feel Good

Image
Hi! Time for the next I Feel Good challenge.     " You know sometimes when you spend ages getting ready for a night out, an event or even just a blog post, and the reflection in mirror isn't what you hoped?  This challenge is for those times when you look in the mirror, no pre planning involved, and think "I look good today".     We all have our good days and our bad, but this challenge is to record those good days and to remember that confidence, at any size, is beautiful.   I'm so  happy that my hair is finally growing! My mini pigtails!   Much love Natalie X Have a look at the other lovely ladies taking part!   Abi  http://aisforabi.blogspot.co.uk/ Becca  http:// thegirlewiththeplait.blogspot.co.uk Becky  http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com/ Bee  http://www.thelittlestbuzz.blogspot.co.uk/ Emma  http://emmaatouchofsparkle.weebly.com/   Felicity  http://felicityhart.blog

The Weekend Break

Image
Hi   At the end of June Mr and C and I decided it was time for a weekend break to recharge our batteries. I took a risk this time and decided to let Mr C decide where we were going and to book the accommodation...eeek! Hello Great Yarmouth!         Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!     All of this went in my belly (well I did give Mr C a tiny piece of scone) Super yum breakfast!   The room of doom     Storm clouds brewing over Mr C. My first time *arcade* bowling! Dinner at a Portguese, it was delicious. I could eat this right now! I couldn't resist starting the cake before taking a picture. Olives..I love them and these tasted amazing. It was a good weekend. I had never been to Great Yarmouth before. I really enjoy going to different seaside towns, the sea air, hot doughnuts on the pier and air hockey at the arcades, what more could a girl ask for! Do you have any suggestions of pl

ASOS Love

Image
Hi!   So, I seem to have developed a slight love affair with ASOS. Over the last few months many a lunchtime has been spent browsing the site and hoping that I won the lottery that week.   A few weeks ago I received that email with the words I had been longing to see...SALE! So, once again at lunchtime it was tools down and time for some major browsing.     I had been on the hunt for a black maxi skirt and hurrah, I finally found one. I must admit I was bit sceptical at first, the skirt is pretty long but the spilt and buttons at the front finally won me over.     The jacket is also from ASOS, I got it a few months ago again in the sales. The yellow top is from H&M, just the regular section. I love to try everything on because you never know when something will take you by surprise when it fits. Hi Shoes!   Do you enjoy shopping on ASOS?   Much Love   Natalie x

The Magnificent 7th

Image
Hi!         'We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!'   Let someone else pick your outfit     So, here is Mr C choosing an outfit for me! Shortly after I took the second photo he said the classic line,' I've never seen this one before'. Here is the outfit that he choose for me to wear to work. Apologies for the huge final picture, its the only way I could show the picture without the print going all weird!   Dress - New Look Leggings - Evans Bag - Kate Spade Shoes - Primark Necklace - Car Boot   Much Love   Natalie   x     Kaye http://polishedcurves.wordpress.com/   Becky http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfa

Fashiola

Image
H Fashiola is a new search engine that has recently launched in the UK. It is a 'fashion finder' which is the new and easy way to find all products of top fashion for women, men and children, high street and designer, in the UK. It enables shoppers to browse products from all brands at a glance including Topshop , Marks and Spencers , H&M, Micheal Kors and Hugo Boss. As part of the UK Fashiola launch, four of their key retailer partners, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters, Dune London and Coast are participating in a launch giveaway worth £2,000.     I had a quick look at the website today and it's really easy to use. You can also create a wardrobe of items that you wish were in your very own wardrobe. A great option if you are waiting until payday to buy pieces.   You can also look at all the plus size clothing options which includes F21, F&F, Asos and even Bloomingdales!  I also search for Plus size dresses, of course I
