Liz McClarnon and Fashion World

Hi!

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to attend the launch of the A/W Lingerie range by Liz McClarnon at Fashion World.

The event was held in the gorgeous Ham Yard Hotel near Soho, an area of London which I had never been to before. This allowed Mr C and I to make the time to do a few tourist things and have some food before the event, but that's in another post!

On arrival at the Hotel I was greeted by the lovely Lauren from SCPR and a few moments later had a drink in my hand ready to have a look around.

The range features three styles- an underwired tartan balcony bra (£24) with matching briefs
(£12), a bird print bra (£24) with matching briefs (£12) and a bird print bodyshaper (£38).

This is my favourite piece from the collection. The bird print on the bust and centre panel is so pretty, a really feminine piece but the hint of lace around the hips, on the panel and the cut of the shaper is enough to make you feel sexy whilst wearing it.

Beautiful detail on the underwear

Tartan has always been a favourite of mine so it was great to see to see this set. Another favourite of mine, the lace detail adds a softness to the print.

The front of the briefs have that delicate lace trim on them and a little bow but turn to the back and you have the red mesh with the spotted detail, elegant and flirty all in one!

As I know Mr C will no doubt read this, I would love to see one of these under the Christmas tree this year please, wrapped in tartan paper of course!

I also got the chance to have a quick chat with Liz.  I was really nervous before but that soon disappeared once she said hello and started chatting, Liz was so welcoming and friendly. It was great to find out that she was very involved with the designing of the collection, her aim was to create flattering, pretty, sexy lingerie that would appeal to women of all sizes and wasn't too revealing.

She really likes tartan and was keen to have that in the collection. Picking designs and colour isn't as straight forward as you think, Liz mentioned that she wanted bird print on white but was then asked which bird and what shade of white!

She also gave a hint that there is more coming to her line in the future, with what I have seen so far I am very excited to see what is coming up!

Thank you once again to SC PR and Fashion World for a fabulous evening!
Much Love
Natalie
