Review | Umberto Giannini Hair Care

Back in November I went to the Bloggers Love Hub event in London (the one where I got very lost!). Whilst I was there I had my hair styled by a member of the Umberto Giannini team, a messy up do, something I had never though of doing but I actually liked it. Can I recreate it by myself, nope!
Over the last few weeks my hair had become quite dry and coarse, mainly due to the weather so I decided it was time to give it some much needed extra moisture. First of all I tried the nourishing oil*.
The oil is quite thick and smells good . I found that I needed quite a lot for my hair, if you don't have afro hair I would say around two pumps would be enough rather than the 4 I did. The oil did leave my hair with a silky feel to it but it still wasn't enough to make it super soft so, I then had to add some of my hair grease afterwards to make my hair manageable.

I also tried the moisture mask* at the weekend. The Umberto Giannini team suggested that I put this on and leave it overnight, which is what I did on Saturday night. The next morning I washed it out with my usual shampoo and didn't use any extra conditioner. My hair felt soft and less tangled than normal which is always a bonus. I also used less hair grease as well, this is when I know that a conditioner has really worked.

Overall I'm really impressed with the mask and would re-purchase again but the oil unfortunately wasn't the right product for my hair.
Have you ever tried any Umberto Giannini products?
Much Love
