Beauty | Lush Haircare
There are some new hair care products that have made their way into my drawer recently. My hair has taken a bit of a battering over the summer months, which unfortunately happens each year.
The first thing that I have been using is the H'suan Wen Hua hair mask from Lush. I have written about this before but I'm including it on here because it's so amazing! The pot is not massive so it only lasts around 4 washes for me and my thick hair. I'm now on my second pot and I would highly recommend if you have dry/afro hair, I've been using it since I came back from holiday as humidity was not my friend!
I also received a sample of the R&B hair moisturiser. The sales assistant was really helpful and said that this would be ideal for my hair, unfortunately, it wasn't pay day yet so I only came away with a sample of this along with the hair mask and a solid shampoo. I have tried this twice now and still have enough left for one more treatment. You only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. I was really impressed with it, it made my hair feel really soft and I didn't need any of my usual hair creams.
The final thing that I bought was a solid hair shampoo. I had seen these before but was not really sure about shampoo that looks like a soap. It was a few weeks before I used this, the main reason I kept putting it off was the smell, whew, it is strong! I believe it's the argon oil in the bar, but it was so strong I had to use an old lush tub to keep it sealed. Despite it's strong smell I love this product, as I wash my hair I can feel the oil making it softer. I tend to wet the bar for a few seconds and then rub it on my head. Just one lather up is enough to make your hair feel smooth and clean. I only wash my hair once a week and even after 3 days my hair still felt soft and shiny. Jason and the argon oil shampoo is a definite re-purchase for me!
