Lifestyle | Intu MK AW17 Style Garden Event

To say that I am excited for Autumn and Winter to arrive might be an understatement! I am *super* excited! I love the change in weather, making the house feel warm and cosy with a million candles and, of course, switching my summer clothes for pieces more cool weather appropriate. To start off the season for me was a visit to the AW17 Style Garden at Intu Milton Keynes. If you're local to the area make sure that you head down there, the event is on this weekend (23rd and 24th). First of all can I say how spoilt we were, waiting for us were complimentary mini facials or massages from the ladies at Clarins, make up sessions with make up artists from Laura Geller and Bare Minerals, AW fashion from TopShop, New Look, Miss Selfridge and Karen Millen and hair styling by Rush Hair. Style | Outside my comfort zone

Hi! Recently I have been updating my wardrobe for the last of the summer months and also preparing for autumn, which is my favourite season. I have been tending to reach for black, blue and white items so, when I saw this dress, I thought it would add a really nice pop of colour in amongst all the solids. This floral print dress was so far out of my comfort zone! However, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. The floral pattern against the white makes for a beautiful contrast, I would normally have just gone for black but there was something much more appealing about the white. The dress is slightly see through so you need to wear a little top and shorts or a slip underneath. The V neck is also quite deep so, if like me you are not comfortable with low cut clothing, just add a thin vest top underneath and it still works perfectly. I've worn this twice so far and I absolutely love it. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the weather improves so I can
